Bento number twenty.

This one took a while to prepare, mainly because of the apple. I'm relatively new to doing anything with apples aside from cutting them up, so I decided to try and checker one. I think it came out decent for a first try. :3

On the left are some steak rolls. I used whole wheat bread, took the crusts off and rolled it out, then spread a wedge of that laughing cow cheese stuff onto it, then laid some thinly cut leftover steak along it, and rolled it up. At the bottom is more leftover macaroni and cheese, to the right is some mushrooms that were cooked in a little butter and beef stock. And in the back is my apple wedge that took me forever! I had put the steak rolls under the broiler for a short time to toast them a little, but after sitting in the bento for about ten minutes, they went back to being breadlike. Which wasn't much of a bother or anything, it was still yummy.

Thanks, I've been trying to make them look better than the first ones I submitted a while ago.

The checkered apple looks nice, but it took sooo long!
